| Description of the problem | Fuel pump leaks on the top of the assembly. Smell of gas inside cabin and outside of vehicle removed rear seat and opened fuel pump covers revealed gasoline pooling on top of pumps. Seems to be due to cracks on the top of assembly. Many 2003-2006 mercedes e class have this issue mine have been changed once problem still persists . |
